The Epsilon Beta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was chartered on March 26, 1960.
A dynamic leadership team, including Founder Myra Davis Hemmings, National Secretary Dr. Ann Campbell, and Regional Director Dr. Helen L. Richards, led the installation ceremony. The dream of a Delta Sigma Theta chapter on the University of Texas at Austin campus was finally achieved with the initiation of twelve charter members into Epsilon Beta.
Since the introduction of DST to UT's campus, the community at large has seen a great impact on social justice carried out by the Delta Women who serve while attending the university. One of their most notable accomplishments was their involvement in the Barbara Jordan Statue Project in honor of the Soror's great achievements throughout her lifetime.
The Epsilon Beta Deltas welcome you to witness greatness in the works!
